More than just an another online atlas, this site provides loads of general geographic information about the countries of the world.  See the links on latitude and longitudes and "the list" that brings up detailed information about countries of the world.

 PERRY-CASTANEDA LIBRARY MAP COLLECTION
This is an amazing collection of maps that is very comprehensive.  There is a section on U.S. historical maps, city maps, and links to other collections.

Travelers and trip planners love this interactive atlas.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SEARCH
This is the search page on the National Geographic site; from this page you can search their "Map Machine" and access the index to National Geographic Magazine by clicking on "publications index."

NATIONALATLAS.GOV
Outstanding maps and map resources are formatted and printable. Includes simple maps and many specific maps displaying history and statistics. Interactive features include "Map Layers" that allows user to create their own unique map.
