The "Our Documents Teacher Sourcebook" is a free resource created by National History Day, Inc. in cooperation with the National Archives that transports educators back in time to 100 critical moments in our nation's history.

The CHO website currently contains about 14,000 images of photographs, drawings and prints which may be searched or browsed in a variety of ways, including by keyword, subject, creator, title and date.
KINGWOOD COLLEGE LIBRARY: AMERICAN CULTURAL HISTORY
Created and maintained by reference librarians, this is a quick reference guide to 20th-century American cultural history. Search by decade, the site features facts about each decade's population and current events.
AVALON PROJECT AT YALE LAW SCHOOL
The Avalon Project at Yale Law School is an incredible resource for students and teachers. Major historical documents dating back to the 12th century are presented in entirety, with links to supporting documents.
UNITED STATES CENSUS DATA
The data presented here describe the people and the economy of the US for each state and county from 1790 to 1960.

LIBRARY OF CONGRESS - AMERICAN MEMORY
The vast resources of the Library of Congress special collections are available here at "The National Digital Library." Includes photographs, sound recordings, etc. Outstanding.
LIBRARY OF CONGRESS - AMERICAN FOLKLIFE CENTER
The collections in the Center's Archive of Folk Culture include folk cultural material from all fifty states, as well as United States trusts, territories, and the District of Columbia. Most of these areas have been served by the American Folklife Center's cultural surveys, equipment loan program, publications, and other projects.
